Important note on what WhichTest? does and doesn't set out to do We would hope that WhichTest? can be a useful adjunct to formal teaching, an aide-memoir if it is a while since you last received relevant teaching, or perhaps a user-friendly way to help you build your knowledge about analysis of psychological data, directing you to original sources that you will need in order to get a more complete understanding. WhichTest? should be used in conjunction with other sources of information about statistical analysis in psychology, such as a formal course component and/or your own locally accessible reference material. There are important principles of research methodology, sampling and design that are beyond the scope of WhichTest?, and in the context of which any statistical analysis should normally be considered.
