More than Two Groups: Examples
EXAMPLE 1: All adult psychology clients from the past 12 months with main presenting problem classified as depression only, all in the same time period with problem classified as anxiety only, and all with problem classified as psychosis only EXAMPLE 2: A sample of 212 clinical psychologists, a sample of 188 psychiatrists, and a sample of 215 mental health nurses. EXAMPLE 4: A sample of 19 young people with Down's syndrome, 16 with autism, and 25 young people without a learning disability.
EXAMPLE 5: A sample of 23 clients randomly assigned to receive face-to-face therapy, 28 clients assigned to email therapy, and 19 clients assigned to a waiting list control group.
NB: We assume that all the samples in each example are of different people - that is, no person could be classified in more than one of the groups - each person can only be in one group.
