Single Case - Help

Single case designs usually involve only one participant or client. They can be quantitative or qualitative. If quantitative they are usually referred to as single case designs, N = 1, or time series studies. If qualitative they might be referred to as a case study, an ethnographic study, participant observation, etc. Occasionally several single case studies will be either designed or published together, and these are then referred to as small-N designs or case series designs.
